Overview
As the successor to the respected Indilinx Barefoot SSD processor, Barefoot 2 continues to set the standard for SATA 3Gbps solid state drive performance, stability, reliability, and low power. Barefoot 2 supports a redesigned NAND Flash controller, including enhanced ECC capabilities and support for synchronous ONFI and Toggle Mode interfaces. Barefoot 2 doubles the number of NAND channels to provide the highest random IOPS and sustained performance of any SATA 3 Gbps processor available today while maintaining extremely low power consumption.
