- “Looking Ahead to Higher Performance SSDs with HLNAND” in collaboration with MOSAID on Wednesday, August 18th from 8:30-10:50AM during Tutorial T1A: Future of NAND Flash
- “Don’t buy new computers! / Maintaining Reasonable Performance with Dirty NAND Flash” on Wednesday, August 18th from 8:30-9:45AM during Open Session 101: Flash Performance
- “Implementation issues for Answering Requirements for Mobile Device Storage” on Wednesday, August 18th from 10:00-10:50AM during Open Session 102: Flash in Mobile Computers
- “Toward Seamless Integration of RAID and SSD” in collaboration with Sungkyunkwan University (Korea) and Narinet on Tuesday, August 17th from 2:40-5:30PM during Forum F2A: Solid State Drives
During this fifth annual Flash Memory Summit, audiences will get the chance to acknowledge the importance and the need for high performance Flash storage controller solutions in ecosystem from consumer mobile devices to Cloud based computing. The audience will also get the chance to know about the following INDILINX Flash storage controller solutions :
- Tinkerbell™ : High performance e.MMC 4.4x controller to meet the current and future demands in storage requirements for Consumer Mobile Devices such as Smartphone, Table PC, MIDs, Navigations, and Netbooks. Tinkerbell™ is aimed to fully utilize the maximum bandwidth allowed by e.MMC 4.4x specifications, which is 104MB/s at Double Data Rate, in both sequential and random operations to improve the user experience in Consumer Mobile Devices for applications such as internet browsing, gaming, social networking applications, emails, and multimedia play.
- Barefoot™ and its Sequel : The revised version of SATA 3Gbps Barefoot™ by INDILINX that will consume the maximum bandwidth allowed by SATA 3Gbps in both Sequential & Random operations! This NEW version will be the fastest SSD controller solution in the market with SATA 3Gbps interface. This is the dreamer’s SATA 3Gbps SSD controller to become into reality.
- Thunderbolt™ : New controller with SATA 6Gbps solution. Thunderbolt™ will be the fastest SATA 6Gbps controller solution and will prove the need for higher SATA interface.
- Tube™ : Developed for MOSAID, Tube™ is a prototype controller that showcases the benefits of HLNAND™, and demonstrates how HLNAND™ technology is needed to develop GB/s-Class SSDs.
